Sacred pilgrimage into the heart of creation

Feminine power, Horses and the Ancient Ones

From the 1st till the 7th of June, 2015 (7 days, 6 nights)

This magnificent journey leads women on horseback into the heart of creation: Canyon De Chelly. It is the sacred land of the Native Americans for 5000 years, where wild mustangs still run free. The breathtaking beauty, purity and power of the canyon opens us into the sacred mystery, beckoning to connect deeply with our soul and to come home.

The canyon holds great historical and spiritual significance, cliff dwellings tell stories of the Ancient Ones (Anastazi, Pueblo, Hopi), who lived here and whose presence is still keenly felt. Spider Rock is known as a powerful vortex, where Spider Woman has been weaving creation since the beginning of time. Together with her we will weave a new story for the feminine, our own lives, the children and the future of our earth.

On this sacred retreat we tread in the footsteps of the ancient ones by sleeping 5 nights in tents under the stars in the Canyon De Chelly and ride on horses to discover the wonders. Meditation, vision quest, leadership, healing, time alone, sharing in the circle of women and ceremony is woven into our journey. As we emerge restored and filled from the womb of creation, we are birthing forth a tapestry into our world where all can thrive.

This majestic canyon and retreat offers us the experience and gift of a lifetime.

Ride with us!

About the Horses:
The horses are gentle and easy to ride even for beginners. We recommend that you take some riding lessons before the retreat, so you will know the basics. Experienced riders have the opportunity to gallop through the canyon- wild and free! A Navajo Woman, who is the owner of the horse ranch, is our guide through the canyon.
